Level 3 and coronavirus means no special meals out for Mother's Day this year. But you can still make her day with a deliciously different breakfast in bed.
That special lunch or dinner out with mum will have to wait another couple of weeks (bring on level two) but with Mother's Day fast approaching on Sunday 10 May, we still want her to feel like the star she is. What better way to treat the woman who has done everything for you all your life than with an indulgent breakfast in bed?
We've found the most luxurious - yet simple to make - breakfast recipes that are guaranteed to make mum smile. Try the fluffy chocolate pancakes or breakfast berry crumble for a sweet start. Or if your mum's more into her savoury dishes, you could whip up the avocado and roasted kumara salad, or posh bacon and egg sandwich. Whatever you choose, it'll set everyone up for the Mother's Day activities you have planned for later in the day (we will be publishing a story about that soon!)
